Symposium 2012: Con-Notations

The symposium titled "con-notations" was dedicated to questions of content in dance and what role issues of dance history can play today. In lectures and discussions, internationally renowned (dance) researchers looked into the question of how to communicate history in dance, develop an approach to contents and express this in dance.

With Fabian Barba (performer & choreographer, Brüssel), Ramsay Burt (professor for dance history, De Tan Montfort University, Leicester), Susanne Foellmer (junior professor for dance research, FU Berlin), Karen Lambæk (dancer & choreographer, Kopenhagen/ Brüssel), Sandra Noeth (dance researcher & dramaturge, Tanzquartier Wien), Micha Purucker (choreographer, Munich), Katja Schneider (dance researcher, LMU Munich) Georg Weinand (artistic director, Dampfzentrale Bern & dramaturge, Das Arts, Amsterdam)

Seminar: Sharing Feedback

Based on participants' short work presentation and the festival's program, Georg Weinand, dramaturge at Das Arts/ Amsterdam, introduced and applied specifically developed feedback formats in a five day seminar.
