Lynda Gaudreau has been active as a choreographer since 1991, when she founded her De Brune dance company. She collaborated with the Klapstuk Festival (Belgium) from 1992 to 1997. “Construction,” a choreography which resulted from this collaboration, won the ADAMI Award for group performance at the Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Bagnolet-Seine-Saint-Denis.
Gaudreau’s choreographies have been presented and/or co-produced at dance centers and festivals in Europe, Brazil, Canada and Israel. She teaches contemporary dance in Canada, Brazil, Austria and Germany, as well as at the renowned P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. “FIND” invited her to serve as guest curator in 2003.
