With Feldenkrais you learn how to move with ease and expand your range of movement in a pleasant way. Together with the participants, in his courses the Viennese Feldenkrais expert Sascha Krausneker explores this method in order to find out little by little how it can be effectively integrated into our movements, our daily lives and our profession as dancers. Mobility and flexibility are important qualities – not only for dancers. It is about getting more in touch with yourself.

Feldenkrais is a highly effective and profound method: From early childhood movement development to high-level physical performance. Exploring effortless movement enables both an exciting and relaxing learning process. Benefits of Feldenkrais can include: improved balance, easier breathing, better coordination, more efficient and differentiated movement, improved posture, freedom from pain, wider range of motion, increased self-awareness, more presence, more stability, more strength, better contact to the floor, and much more.

Sascha Krausneker has been teaching the Feldenkrais Method in various contexts and at festivals in Austria and abroad since 2002 and is co-founder of the Vienna Feldenkrais Institute. He has a background in dance, theatre and competitive sports (judo dan holder) and has worked to integrate the Feldenkrais Method into contemporary dance.
