Zoran Marković is a dancer, choreographer and rehearsal director. As a dancer, his engagements have included the ballet company of the Semperoper Dresden and the Netherlands Dance Theatre. He has danced as a soloist in choreographies by John Neumeier, Mats Ek, William Forsythe, Crystal Pite, Stephan Thoss and Marco Goecke, among others. Since 2018, he has been working as a freelance guest teacher, rehearsing and studying various works by Stephan Thoss and Johan Inger's choreographies all over the world.

In his workshop, Zoran provides insights into the dynamic, theatrical, sometimes grotesque-humorous movement vocabulary of Johan Inger based on his works “Peer Gynt” and “Carmen”. With a special focus on rhythms and movement qualities, the workshop concentrates on the centre of the body and its weight as the starting point for movement. Starting from this very local concentration, all movement here starts in the belly. In the form of waves from the centre, it is thrown into the body and arrives delayed in the limbs. The dancing body becomes free to expand and switch more quickly between dynamics – a playful adventure begins!
