DJ-Sets, generative & analog (Live-) Visuals

The evening will conclude with DJ sets by Radio 80000 and Terra Magica Rec., accompanied live by visuals from the artists supermarket_sallad and Lucien Lietz (AUGE). While supermarket_sallad creates digital ambient animations, Lucien Lietz uses physical materials, textures and colours to transport the audience into a parallel reality. Music and projections merge into an immersive experience that invites you to dance until the early hours of the morning.

Since its founding in 2015, Radio 80000 has become one of the leading non-commercial broadcasting stations in the German-speaking countries, offering a platform for local and international protagonists from music, arts and culture. Around 100 different formats are regularly broadcast live from the studio in Munich's Kreativquartier. These include DJ sets, talks, experimental sound art and interdisciplinary contributions.

The Munich-based label Terra Magica Rec. was founded in 2021 by DJs Mirko Hecktor and Tom Sprenger. It stands for cross-genre electronic music, experimental sounds, sonic expeditions and transcultural psychedelia, ranging from Dub, Psychedelic Electronics, Acid, Goa Trance and Breakbeat. The label releases compilations and solo projects by artists such as Cosmica Bandida, Grischerr and Moisk, and regularly organises events in Munich and beyond.

Simon David Rydén aka supermarket_sallad from Malmö is a multimedia artist working in the field of generative art. He is interested in the tension that arises when predetermined processes encounter the chaotic and organic, and uses this to create interactive ambient animations in real time. He has created visuals for artists such as Anyma, Ben Böhmer, Casian and Robert Koch and has performed at Mutek in Montreal and with Nicola Cruz in Bali, among others. Under his pseudonym, he also shares tutorials and open source repositories with a broad community.

Munich-based artist Lucien Lietz created AUGE, an analogue and interactive light tool, for his solo performances. Everything that happens in the moment can become part of the images created: AUGE captures current events, only to overlay them with materials, shapes and colours, dissolving them and transforming them into something else. In interaction with music and live video, a vibrant, flowing visual composition emerges that cannot be reproduced.
